The UK McDonalds Best Chance Monopoly Game Starts 18-03-09
News March 13th, 2009Well that time of year is here again, and the UK Mcdonalds Monopoly game is just around the corner.
This years game is known as Best Chance monopoly and it's probably McDonald's most generous competition yet, allowing for a 1 in 3 chance of winning a prize as opposed to last year's 1 in 4 Money Monopoply game.
The gameplay is similar to previous years, being a mix of small instant win prizes and larger items won by collecting a series of stickers matching a particular set of properties on the monopoly gameboard.

I found Mayfair but lost it (last thurs)on my way back to the office or accidently it went into the rubbish when i left. Didn’t know what i had untill I found park lane yesterday. Bit gutted now. Hopefully it fell out of pocket and someone else finds it instead of being in a rubbish bag somewhere.

Got it in the bromley common McD’s last thursday but didn’t get park lane til Monday. When I got park lane and realised I’d already found May fair I hoped park lane was the rare sticker but then I found this website. If it was the next day I would have sifted through their rubbish till I found it.

The claim number i had for the xbox i woun was 08005875615, I have just called them as sent sticker recorded deliver 3 weeks ago and not yet had a response. I was told it can take 11 – 14 working days before you get the confirmation letter, as it has only been 13 working days scince i sent my sticker in they refused to offer any further help and told me to call back on monday!!! I would be interested to know if anyone has had their letters or any more joy than I have had with the claim line as i thought they were pretty unhelpfull

Want an honest person? I had Bond Street; and I never realised that it was the rare sticker.
I didn’t have my gameboard on me, so I placed it in my purse, along with many other monopoly stickers that I had from my family’s meal.
I returned the next day home, to open my gameboard and find that Bond Street was the only one left for home prize. I ran upstairs and grabbed my purse, ran back downstairs, pulling all of the stickers out.. to find that I had every other sticker but Bond Street.
Being that I was 1 of 2 people that had the opportunity of holding that sticker in the whole of England… I guess you can say I’m not right in the head at the moment.
So all if you people that say you had Mayfair and lost it, surely you’d slowly be eating yourself alive…

After reading all this, noone read the small prints did they?!?
Even if you have the full set for purple, you won’t be guaranteed the £500k, because you’ll be put into a raffle. This explains why about 20 people here have Mayfair and Park Lane.
I have Park Lane, but so do about 1000 people (exaggerated) but I need Mayfair (but there should be as much Mayfair as there is Parklane). Even that wont get us the £500k, because we be put into a raffle (say with 500 other sets).
I’m not willing to split 50:50 because I don’t trust anyone with that much money, so therefore if you want Park Lane (M920) email me at dchwong@gmail.com and I will sell the sticker to you via ebay for an agreed price.

Never trust people saying they will split 50:50, once they see the digits in their bank they’ll swallow it all.
I kind of agree with Akuma that there might be a raffle for the purple set (or maybe all the set, hence the delay in confirmation from McD). If it is true, then there should be confirmation letters when the deadline is due.
It’s logical to think that the raffle is the best way to combat floggers (i.e. ebayers) to win big prizes for a fraction of a pound.
If everyone is telling the truth about owning Mayfair, then it concludes that there must be a selection from a pool of claimers; e.g. raffle.

Thought it was a con, had not even eaten at mcdo for more than a month since i won and been waiting for my prize. but i’m proud and happy to say that finally i got the brand new xbox console with games just today. Although, i waited for more than 35 days for my prize to be verified i can say it’s worth a wait. I have a gift for my son’s bday!!! Can’t wait for the next monopoly promo, hope to get the bucks next time or the house and lot will do. Guess what????i treated my kids at mcdo for dinner earlier …..:)
